まだ渡らないサシバ、シロハラ
サシバはほとんど繁殖のため本土へ渡ってしまったのですが、わずかに幼鳥が残っています。繁殖には参加しないのでゆっくりなのでしょう。
シロハラも数は少なくなりましたが、こちらはまだまだ見る機会が多いです。
しばらく安定して暖かかった沖縄地方ですが、大陸からの寒気の擾乱により寒の戻りとなり、最高気温18.0度、最低気温15.0度と冬に逆戻りしたような寒い一日でした。明日以降は、だんだん暖かくなるそうでこのまま若夏に突入です。
Grey-faced Buzzards are now down to just a few. Those still lingering are all young birds with no stake in breeding.
Pale Thrushes are still around in good numbers, but they too will soon be gone as breeding season approaches.
With the cold snap returning and the daytime high only 18°C, even the Blue Rock Thrush looks chilly.
