シギが増えてきているので、この日は一日中、シギ・チドリ探しに当てました。その結果、シベリアオオハシシギをはじめアメリカウズラシギ、ヨーロッパトウネン、キリアイ、サルハマシギ、ハリオシギ、オオメダイチドリなどシギ・チドリだけで合計21種類を確認できました。一日でこれだけの種類が見られるのはこの時期の醍醐味ですね。^^

シベリアオオハシシギの幼鳥が飛来しました。田んぼでアオアシシギやセイタカシギと共に行動しています。
キリアイは各所の田んぼに入り、3エリアに4羽います。当然のことながら全て幼鳥。たまには成鳥が見たい…。
エリマキシギも複数飛来。オジロトウネンも少しずつ増えて来ました。
今季初のチュウシャクシギ幼鳥も確認。田んぼは秋が深まるごとに、にぎやかになってきました。

実家に孫の顔を見せに行ったついでに少しだけ鳥見。
シベリアオオハシシギと夏羽のツルシギとヒメハマシギに行ってきました。ヒメハマシギは2日連続で外しましたが、シベリアオオハシシギと真っ黒の夏羽ツルシギは首尾よく見られました。
When I arrived on site first thing in the morning, there were around 20 cars already there for the Long-billed Dowitcher. They were lined up along a narrow farm track and looked likely to cause problems for the local farmers, so I stayed off the track and took just a few shots from a long distance. As a result, the corrugated-iron wave sheeting along the field bank made a solid appearance in the frame… ^^;
