今季初撮影のリュウキュウアカショウビン
4/7に初観察以来、やっと写真が撮れた!日没寸前には、どこからともなくわいてきた羽アリを、ペアで空中でキャッチしまくってた。求愛給餌はまだしないみたい…。

Ryukyu Kingfisher, male. The right foot is deformed. Just before dusk, the pair were repeatedly catching winged ants in mid-air. You can just see a few ant wings sticking out from the tip of the bill.
