田んぼに白いアカアシシギが。目立ち過ぎですね。^^;

Searching for food alone.

サトウキビ畑で寒そうに餌探し。今日は今年一番の冷え込みでした。

It lunged at its prey several times but couldn't seem to catch it.

今年はツグミ、シロハラ、アカハラなどツグミの仲間が多いな。

渡ってきてかなりたつので、人を怖がらなくなってきた。^^

Gorging on earthworms in the soil. I'm always impressed watching it hunt prey it can't even see yet. ^^

最近、幼鳥の移動が激しい。もうすぐ繁殖期に入るので、成鳥からおわれてるのかな。

天気が安定しませんが、カンムリワシの幼鳥は元気にしてます。^^

サシバは、最近見る機会が減りました。

初めて見る個体。人をあまり恐れない。^^

Dives on a Ryukyu Box Turtle!!

クロツラヘラサギの成鳥と幼鳥がいました。来年の春ぐらいまでいるでしょう。

The one in the back — an adult, as the wings are pure white.

目の前2メートルをカンムリワシが飛翔!!　ファインダーいっぱいに5連続写真です。

翼が風を切る音が聞こえるほどの近距離でしたー。^^

Bathed in the evening sun, it turned an even more vivid orange.

今日のカンムリワシは活発に活動していました!!

1日で、これだけ飛びものが撮れることはめったにない。

水辺にすむ鳥たちは、雨が降っても平気です。

How much longer is it going to stay, I wonder.

同じ場所にカンムリワシとミサゴがいます。もっと撮影時間が欲しい…。

昨日の日暮れに見つけていました。今日も同じ田んぼに。^^

小さなカメを捕まえましたー。

It grabbed a turtle and carried it off to a perch.

この時期にキンバトにあえるとはラッキー。^^

最近、縄張りを広げつつあるペアです。
