シギチ、秋の渡り増量中
昨日、立秋を迎え、秋の渡り途中のシギチが増えてきました。
海岸や田んぼには、コチドリやメダイチドリ、シロチドリ、アオアシシギ、キアシシギ、タカブシギ、イソシギが増えてきました。また、ツバメやリュウキュウツバメ、クロハラアジサシも渡ってきています。
8月11日追記: 沖縄本島の師匠に間違いを指摘してもらい訂正しました。4枚目のタカブシギと10枚目のハジロクロハラアジサシです。
In the mangrove wetlands, Common Greenshanks were dashing through the shallows chasing small fish. They did not seem to be having much luck catching them.
Nearby there was also a Grey-tailed Tattler. I saw many Grey-tailed Tattlers today.

Foreground: Black-bellied Tern, breeding plumage.
Background: White-winged Tern, first-summer plumage moulting into winter plumage.
Barn Swallows and Ryukyu Swallows are also increasing in number.
