アカエリヒレアシシギ、ジシギほか
ジシギを平田原で撮影していると視界の端になにやらちょこまか動くのが。この動きはとファインダーから目を離すとアカエリヒレアシシギが目の前にいました。^^ 田んぼをちょこまか泳ぎながら採餌していましたが、知らないうちにどこかへ移動したようです。
ジシギも識別しようと尾羽が撮れるまで頑張ったのですが、いまいち消化不良。

Something big in a flock of five snipe. Looks like a Swinhoe's Snipe.
Can't get a look at the tail feathers. ^^;
Oh, it flew!! Those tail feathers — Great Snipe!!… but apparently it's a Swinhoe's Snipe. I was told on Twitter that there are Swinhoe's Snipe in Okinawa with tail feathers that look like Great Snipe.
Oh, a snipe close by. Also a Swinhoe's Snipe?
It came out of the grass.
Tried to catch the tail feathers spread open, but it just wouldn't oblige. ^^;
