水辺の野鳥

林道をまわりつつ、途中、大浜海岸や近くの田んぼなどを回りました。ヒバリシギはどこの田んぼにも大量にいます。次に多いのがタカブシギ、セイタカシギの順番でしょうか。海岸には圧倒的にキョウジョシギが多く、ついでキアシシギ、ソリハシシギです。ムナグロは田んぼにも海岸にも芝生にもいるのでトータルでは一番多いですね。シマアジと思われるカモもいましたが、パソコンで拡大してみるとコガモのようです。

Marsh Sandpiper

There was one Marsh Sandpiper. It was a friendly bird that didn't flush even when people walked along the paddy bank.

Common Greenshank

A Common Greenshank. Compared to the Marsh Sandpiper above, the body is larger and the bill noticeably thicker.

Long-toed Stint

Long-toed Stints are present in large numbers in every rice paddy.

Whimbrel

There were two Whimbrels.

Ruddy Turnstone

Ruddy Turnstones were the most numerous on the shore. Pacific Golden Plovers were also plentiful.

Greater Sand Plover

There are also good numbers of Greater Sand Plovers.

Eurasian Teal

There was one Eurasian Teal at the reservoir.
