The Three Primary Colors of Ishigaki Island Light (video)
The three primary colors of light on Ishigaki Island: Ryukyu Kingfisher (Red), Common Emerald Dove (Green), and Collared Kingfisher (Blue). Right now you can see all three — RGB — in one go. ^^
A Ruddy Kingfisher near home. Looks like the same individual as last year.
A Emerald Dove also viewable near home. For this time of year, it was oddly a juvenile. Strange, given that breeding hasn't even started yet….
Same individual as above. No wariness at all, so I was able to observe it up close.
A Collared Kingfisher with a muddy belly from catching prey.
It was regurgitating a pellet.
