カタグロトビとハヤブサ

同じ田んぼにカタグロトビとハヤブサがいました。ハヤブサはコウライキジに突撃していましたが失敗。カタグロトビは首尾よくネズミを捕まえました。

どちらも警戒心が弱く、比較的近距離で観察、撮影できました。

Black-winged Kites moult completely into adult plumage in about a year. The eye colour has also changed from the pale orange of the juvenile stage to deep red.
