田んぼでアカエリヒレアシシギ、シマアカモズなど
秋の渡りも中盤に差し掛かり、田んぼにはシギとツメナガセキレイの仲間が大量にいます。
そんな中、台風13号の影響かアカエリヒレアシシギが1羽田んぼに入りました。
近くには、先日のエリマキシギも滞在中。クロハラアジサシは成鳥、幼鳥合わせて8羽ほどが飛び回っていました。

Typhoons tend to bring in Red-necked Phalaropes. One was catching what looked like a small snail in the rice paddies.
Brown Shrike, transitioning from juvenile to first-winter plumage. I had confirmed the first record of the season about a week ago, but this is my first time photographing one this year.

Marsh Sandpiper, winter plumage. Numbers of Marsh Sandpipers, both adults and juveniles, have increased considerably.
Common Greenshank is the second most numerous species on Ishigaki Island after Wood Sandpiper.

Crested Serpent Eagle breeding has finished, and sightings are becoming more frequent.
Black-bellied Tern, adult. Traces of summer plumage remain.
