牧草地でカンムリワシとツバメチドリ
牧草刈りが始まるとカンムリワシとツバメチドリが集まってきました。ツバメチドリは最終的には20羽超えでした。
今季5羽目のカンムリワシの幼鳥にも会えました。^^
A Crested Serpent Eagle charging in when prey is flushed during pasture mowing.
When it finishes eating, it returns to the original branch.
It caught a mouse. Swallowed the long tail whole.
The fifth juvenile Crested Serpent Eagle of the season.
A winter-plumage Oriental Pratincole that caught a large grasshopper.
Swallowed the large grasshopper whole, too.
This one is an Oriental Pratincole still showing a hint of summer plumage.
