At this time of year, Black-bellied Terns surge in numbers whenever a typhoon hits.

As autumn deepens, Barn Swallows have been increasing. On Ishigaki-jima, swallows are the heralds of autumn.

They were quite thoroughly soaked by the rain, but were zipping back and forth over the paddies.

It had caught a spider carrying eggs. It ate both the spider and the eggs, every last bit.
