逗留中のジャワアカガシラサギと渡ってきたシギたち
ジャワアカガシラサギ2羽は元気に滞在中。たまに見えない時もあるのですが、どこからともなく現れたりします。同じ田んぼがお気に入りの模様。
秋の渡りのシギも増えてきました。ハリオシギは少ないですが、チュウジシギはたくさん。タシギはまだ現れません。
コアオアシシギが数羽にトウネンの小さな群れも入っていました。タカブシギは相変わらず多く、セイタカシギはフレッシュな幼鳥がお目見えしました。
どこの田んぼも賑やかになってきて楽しいですね。
A Javan Pond Heron that has been present for about a week now.
Javan Pond Herons lurking at the far end of a rice paddy can be surprisingly hard to find. Take the time to scan carefully with binoculars.

Black-winged Stilt in fresh juvenile plumage. Finding one like this feels like a lucky find. ^^

Red-necked Stint, adult, late summer plumage.
