リュウキュウアオバズクのヒナ顔出し
近所で営巣中のアオバズクのヒナが大きくなったようで、メス親が外に出ていました。
巣から距離を取り、車内から1200ミリの超望遠でのぞいてみると小さくヒナの顔が見えました。2羽は確認できました。あと2週間程度で巣立つと思われます。
I could just barely make out the chicks' faces. They were scratching each other's faces and the like, but it will be a little while longer before they fledge.
The female Brown Hawk-Owl has moved out of the nest, which has become cramped as the chicks have grown larger.
