アカショウビン、アオバズク抱卵中
巣穴を三つほど掘っていた近所のリュウキュウアカショウビンが抱卵していました。
公園のアカショウビンたちも活発に餌を捕ったり囀ったりしています。
八重山農林高校で繁殖するリュウキュウアオバズクも抱卵中。 このアオバズクは2015年に見つけて から毎年、子育てのため学校へやってきます。
It has been digging nest holes in several spots within its territory, and I could only guess which one it was using — but this Taiwanese termite mound appears to be the confirmed site.
