いつにも増して美しいリュウキュウアカショウビン
求愛給餌待ちなんだけど、最近このペアの縄張りにメスのアカショウビンが侵入してくるみたいで、ペアのメスが一生懸命追い払ってた。
ある学校の敷地では、求愛給餌してたけど、さすがに学校に600mmを向けるわけにはいかず…。
The colors are coming out nicely. Colors you only get in shade.

This red-purple is structural color, you know. The purple is considerably stronger than in Ruddy Kingfishers from the mainland.
Shutter speed 1/6. Pretty dark.
Head-on, it's not the most cute angle…
