間もなく巣立ちのアオバズク
先日、メスが巣の外に追い出されていたアオバズク のヒナがそろそろ巣立ちしているかと営巣木を訪れましたが、まだのようでした。
大きくなったヒナは、巣の中でもよく動くようで外の親鳥は、巣の方をじっと見つめていました。きょうは、オスのアオバズクは見つかったのですが、メスは見つけられなかった。

A Brown Hawk-Owl staring intently at the nest entrance, listening to the sounds of chicks shuffling around inside and practising their wing-flapping. This individual always perches somewhere so close you feel you could almost reach out and touch it.
